Princess Beatrice may be moving into Meghan and Harrys old house – Yahoo Lifestyle

Despite the pandemic, it’s been an exciting summer for Princess Beatrice. After having to cancel her wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in May, the couple decided to go ahead with an intimate, socially distanced ceremony in secret in July. And now, they’ve got the rest of their lives ahead of them.
The newlyweds are believed to have had a mini-moon in France, and were also recently spotted on Italy’s Amalfi coast with Edo’s son, Wolfie. But once all wedding celebrations are wrapped up, what’s next for the couple?
Well, it seems there could be a house move on the cards. To none other than Meghan and Harry’s old Kensington Palace home, according to those in the know at Hello! While nothing has been confirmed or announced yet, the royal experts say logic suggests Beatrice and Edo may well be offered Nottingham Cottage, where the Sussexes lived before relocating to Windsor.
Prince Harry was already living in Nottingham Cottage before meeting Meghan Markle. The two-bedroom property, is described as “very cosy” and “a sweet English house” in a newly-released biography of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Finding Freedom. Nothing “imposing” like you might imagine for royalty.
It might be “just like any regular home,” but authors of Finding Freedom Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand do note that it’s “a nice place by anyone’s standards.” So could it be Princess Beatrice and her new husband next abode?
Since Meghan and Harry departed the property in March 2019, it’s believed to have been vacant. And it’s situated very close to Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank’s residence, Ivy Cottage, which is also located in the grounds of Kensington Palace. So it would make sense in that respect.
As well as the two bedrooms, Nottingham Cottage has a living room, a smaller dining room, and two bathrooms – worlds away from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s large London residence that sits next door, Apartment 1A, boasting 22 rooms.
During lockdown, Beatrice and Edo split their time between her flat in St James’ Palace, and Edoardo’s luxurious family home in Chipping Norton, in the Cotswolds. With numerous living options available to them, moving might not be high up the agenda quite yet – but who wouldn’t want the Cambridges as their next door neighbours?!
